Rain and the highlands can only mean one thing we are in Scotland. 23rd July is time for KeepitClean UK’s annual show Cleanfest which is located at Fife Airport.
The chilled out vibe from the show made sure that the weather didn’t ruin the atmosphere, with Drake playing in the background you can never go wrong. The stage interviews were a great addition, where drivers could take their car up and tell everyone what they done and just have a general chat.
People travelled from all across the UK for the show including myself, Jordan McCune with the Nardo Grey Volvo c30 and also Dane Fegan with his S40 (travelling from Ireland)
One of the top 10 awards from the show went to Shaun Quinn’s epic build of his Honda Civic, the custom green paint colour matched with the wide body fenders and insane custom three piece dished wheels definitely stood out in the hangar!
Also in the hangar was this Porsche with a Pandem kit. These Pandem kits have become ever more popular in the US scene this year, it’s not usual that you would find them over in the UK that much therefore it was refreshing to see the craftsmanship involved in person. Still find it amazing to think this thing is static, I was grinding my teeth when he went on the stage to receive his award incase the bumper hit.
There was a great display of wheels from the show. Ranging from Rotiform, BBS and WCI custom wheel brands. One of my favourites still are Jordan’s Watercooled ind 3 piece Lp1’s.
Greg Robins and the rest of the KeepItClean team really do put on a great show, despite the weather being damp and cloudy it didn’t destroy the spirit and atmosphere of the show. Aswell as everyone from KeepitClean acknowledging and appreciating everyone that had attended and travelled far for the show. Definitely a show to put on the calendar every year, we will be back !
