Last weekend saw the show season kick off in N.Ireland with the greatly anticipated VAG show Dubshed ran by the guys of GTINI. Held at the hall of the Eikon Complex in Lisburn. This years show wasn’t only filled with outstanding looking VAG cars inside and outside but the inclusion of some non vag cars.
One car stood out was Jordan McCune’s Toyota Gt86. We all remember Jordan from last years shows with the gorgeous Nardo Grey Volvo c30 on the 3 piece WCI wheels. From talking to him this build cut it close with getting the wheels and splitter a day before the show. The bright red centres from 3SDM on some sweet looking dishes against the pearl white of the car really make the car pop. Cant wait to see the progress of this car.
Next we have another member close to the Letstance family, Stephen McKenna. His golf has been given a fresh paint job to keep the car glossy and shiny. He has only went and got himself a set of 19 inch 3 piece Infinitewerks wheels. Tucking those all round. Also colour coding the side skirts and rear bumper with back diffuser, to go along with his immaculate engine bay. Another to look out for this season.
Another that stood out for me was Aaron McMahon’s 2018 Nardo Grey Audi RS5 dropped on ABP suspension. This thing looks so mean and aggressive in person along with some Rotiform wheels. We can remember Aaron’s car form last year the static Golf R MK7 from our show. We can only guarantee this RS5 will be another head turner.
My personal favourite of the show was Aaron Black’s freshly painted E30 in Estoril Blue. Along with the tucked bay and deep dish BBS. This car really stood out for me the finish was immaculate being a painter myself the gloss was incredible and work and effort put into this car hats off to Aaron can’t wait to see whats next for it.
